Centrally set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open backcut-down setting with an approximate weight of 1.35 carats, adorned with twenty eight cushion shape old mine diamond in open back cut-down settings with a combined weight of 4.10 carats, embellished further with forty six round rose cutdiamonds in open back cut-down settings with a combined weight of 0.75 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 6.20 carats to an impressive pendant/brooch flowing with movement, featuring ornate openwork with polished edges, granulation details, and fancy open backholing, set to reverse with a removable brooch fitting with a screw mechanism, fitted to top with a removable bale, pendant with bale approximately 6.0cm in length. Tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1880, accompanied with a fitted box.
