Victorian diamond flower earrings. A matching pair, each set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, further set with ten round rose cut diamonds in closed back grain settings, twenty in total, with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.40 carats, to an openwork floral design featuring polished edges, a pierced gallery and open and closed backholing, fitted to top with a secure front opening hinged back closure, approximately 1.6cm in length. Marked 18 carat rose gold and tested silver, French, circa 1880.
