Victorian diamond and ruby carved ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old cutnatural unenhanced Siamrubies in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.50 carats, to an ornate carved three stone ring featuring stylised claws, open scrolling gallery and intricately pierced backholing, the integrated trumpeting shoulders include incised leaf motifs which flow to a slim shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold, English, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80268-16.
