Set with seven cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and cut-down settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.40 carats, further set with six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain and cut-down settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.52 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing leading to ornately carved shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and tested silver, circa 1890.
