Description

Victorian sapphire and diamond gypsy ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, further set with two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.25 carats, to a conforming three stone design featuring polished edges and circular open backholing, flanked by broad shoulders with ornate carved detail which flow through to a solid D-shape ridged band. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5783-2955.
