Victorian Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.70 carats, encircled by nine round old cut diamonds in open back claw and cut-down settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, all to an elegant oval coronet cluster featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to ridged shoulders with grooved detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and silver, English, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80255-95.
