Victorian Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.32 carats, enircled by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.15 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to broad trumpeting shoulders with engraved detail and flowing through to a solid ridged shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by GemResearch Swisslab report #GRS2005-091665.
