Description

Van Cleef & Arpels three row diamond ring. Set to centre with a slightly raised tapered row of twenty rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.40 carats, flanked by two horizontal rows of graduated round brilliant cut diamonds, twenty in total with a combined weight of 1.80 carats in open back claw settings. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.20 carats, to an elegant three row stepped form with pierced backholing and openwork between, conforming to the finger and tapering to heavy shoulders and a solid flat shank. Marked 18 carat, signed 'VCA' for Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered '453 H-15', American, circa 1970s.
