Set to centre with a natural sugar loaf cabochon sapphire in an open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 4.70 carats, flanked by six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, further set with twenty four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.00 carats, to a heavy cluster form featuring polished edges, decorative engraving and open backholing, leading to angular ridged shoulders and flowing through to a solid ridged shank. Testedplatinum, engraved to interior '17.3.50', circa 1950, English, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80261-56.
