Square diamond cluster ring. Set centrally with a round old cut diamond in an open back corner claw setting with a weight of 0.65 carats, encircled by twenty round old cut diamonds in open back grain and claw settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats and twelve round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.24 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.29 carats, to an openwork square cluster ring with millegrain borders, pierced gallery and circular backholing, the trumpeting shoulders leading through to a flat shank. Marked iridium and platinum, American, circa 1950.
