Silver post medieval signet ring. A silver signet ring with a central oval shaped plaque engraved with a symmetrical pattern within an outer border, flanked to either side with broad integrated shoulders featuring raised decorative navette shaped nodules and a diamond shape engraved pattern, curving to a solid shank. Tested silver, approximately 5.5 grams in weight, circa 16th-17th century. It is not possible to distinguish the central motif due to wear, commensurate with its age.
