Sapphire and diamond snake ring, circa 1920. A yellow gold and platinum ring composed of two intertwined snakes, one in yellow gold, the head set with one central round old cut sapphire an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, the eyes set with two round rose cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 0.02 carats, the other snake in platinum set with one central round old cut diamond with an approximate weight of 0.20 carats, the eyes set with two round old cut rubies with an approximate total weight of 0.04 carats, the shank comprised of the two bodies of the snakes.
