Belle Époque sapphire and diamond crossover ring. Set with a cushion shape old mine cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, further adorned with a round old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, bordered to the shoulders with ten round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.10 carats, to a sophisticated cross over design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to scrolling shoulders with millegrain detail and flowing through to a solid ridged shank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, French import mark, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80262-84.
