Set with four round old cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, further set with five cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings and twenty cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, twenty five in total with a combined approximate weight of 1.80 carats, to an ornate cluster featuring openwork details, a geometrically pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with cheniers and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested white gold and platinum, circa 1935.
