Sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, surrounded by fifty round mixed cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.25 carats, to an ornate bombe' cluster design with an intricate millegrain open work decoration and fancy pierced backholing, the integrated trumpeting shoulders terminating to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Service report #78129-45.
