 Description

Ruby and diamond seven stone ring. Set horizontally with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Siam rubies in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, further set with four cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, to an ornate design featuring stylised claws, an intricately carved gallery with scrolling motifs, and fancy shape open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'E&W' for 'Eaton & Wrighton', numbered '7', full hallmarks for Birmingham, English, 1914, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-2448.
