Ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced ruby in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, encircled by sixteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.32 carats, to an elegant cluster design featuring openwork details with millegrain edging, a decorative gallery with scrolling motifs and open circular backholing, leading to carved shoulders will scrolling and ridged details, and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, and tested rose gold, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-170.
