Vintage ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.00 carats, encircled by a single row of ten round brilliant cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.50 carats, to a floral cluster design featuring polished borders, an openwork gallery displaying circular motifs and open backholing, leading to inwardly tapering raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, French, circa 1970, accompanied by GPL report #07205.
