Post Medieval gold posy ring 'SEMPER + TIBI + FIDELIS + ERO'. A yellow gold posy ring, with an intricate geometric rosette pattern to the exterior, the interior engraved in serrifed capitals 'SEMPER + TIBI + FIDELIS + ERO', translated from the Latin as 'I will always be faithful to you', approximately 3.2mm in width. Tested yellow gold, approximately 1.6g in weight, English, circa 16th-17th century.
Accompanied by documentation from the British Museum and the Portable Antiquities Scheme stating that this ring was found whilst metal detecting at Frampton, Lincolnshire, UK in March 2015. It is recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme under reference LIN-BB6164; and disclaimed under the Treasure Act, reference 2015T239.
