Art Deco emerald and diamond ring. Set with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.38 carats, encircled by eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats and flanked by two rows of round single cut diamonds, twelve in total, in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.72 carats, to a geometric cluster with pierced detail, an elaborate openwork conforming gallery and fancy backholing, the shoulders with cheniers lead down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-3513.
