Art Deco Asscher diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal Asscher cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 2.10 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back millegrain setttings with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.20 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring a structured open linear collet with decorative cheniers, corner claws and geometric backholing, the raised open shoulders feature decorative cheniers proceeding to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #78131-94.
