Burmese ruby and diamond three stone cross over ring. Diagonally set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.70 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, to an elegant cross over form featuring intricate pierced curving claws, a pierced gallery and open backholing, flanked by gently sloping shoulders and tapering down to a solid flat shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1940, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80262-82.
