 Description

Pigeon Blood Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Pigeon's Blood Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.84 carats, flanked to either side by a tapered baguette cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a combined approximate weight of 0.12 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design, featuring corner claws, geometric openwork gallery and fancy open backholing, the slightly sloping shoulders flowing smoothly down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by C. Dunaigre Switzerland report #CDC1408649.
