Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.52 carats, encircled by a single row of eight round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.53 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.05 carats, to a striking cluster featuring curving claws, a structured openwork gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by tri-split shoulders, tapering down to a solid ridged D-shape shank. Marked platinum and iridium, maker's mark for Oscar Heyman Brothers, numbered '66696', American, circa 1960.
