Set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby to centre in an open back yellow gold claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.63 carats, encircled by a channel set row of eighteen tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.64 carats, to an elegant oval cluster with an openwork gallery and intricate pierced backholing, conforming to the finger with raised split shoulders, to a solid ridged shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, maker's mark for Oscar Heyman Brothers, numbered '39257', American, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5774-342.
