Description

Edwardian diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a single round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, adorned by thirty six round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.90 carats, to an ornate openwork marquise cluster featuring millegrain details, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to split shoulders with elegant scrolled engraving to the sides and flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
