Old cut diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, flanked by six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.02 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the raised shoulders leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, numbered '336', circa 1920.
