Set to centre with one cushion shape old mine cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, encircled by sixteen cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.80 carats, to an octagonal cluster featuring openwork details, a decoratively pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with cheniers and linear engraving and flowing through to a solid square shank. Tested platinum, French, circa 1920.
