Description

Medieval point cut diamond solitaire ring. Set with a square point cut diamond in a closed back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, to a quatrefoil design, the collet with four cusped petals, flanked by finely modeled ornamental shoulders which lead through to a tapering V-shaped shank. Tested yellow gold, approximately 9g in weight, circa 15th century, accompanied by an Oxford Labs X-ray fluorescence report stating the composition of the metal.
