Set with one cushion shape old cutnatural unenhanced sapphire in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 3.31 carats, further set with two square step cutdiamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.46 carats adorned by thirty eight round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings, with a combined weight of 0.90 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.36 carats to an impressive ethereal design featuring polished borders, linear open galleries and intricate open backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure pin and safety catch, approximately 5cm wide. Settings testedplatinum and fittings tested white gold, circa 1930.
