Description

Georgian two row diamond ring. Set with sixteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in closed back cutdown settings with a combined weight of 1.20 carats, additionally set to the shoulders with two round rose cut diamonds in closed back cutdown settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.26 carats, to a double row design with a closed scalloped gallery, the intricately carved scrolling shoulders proceeding to a tapering D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1820.
