Georgian gold posy ring 'God us bless in happiness'. The plain D-shape band engraved to the interior 'God us bless in happiness', approximately 3.5mm in width. Tested yellow gold, approximately 2.82g in weight, circa 18th century.

There is only one further example of this posy catalogued- see Evans, J., 'English Posies and Posy Rings', 1931, p.45 which is cited as being held by the Norwich Castle Museum and is listed in the 'Catalogue of Antiquities Found Principally in East Anglia' complied by Frank Leney, Norwich, 1909.
