 Description

Georgian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Set with one central cushion shape emerald-cut natural emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back rubover collet setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, encircled by six cushion shape old mine diamonds in closed back cutdown settings with an approximate total weight of 0.30 carats, to an ornate openwork cluster design featuring an openwork bezel, polished edges and fancy open backholing, flanked by tri-part foliate shoulders flowing through to a solid slim D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and silver, English, and Gemmological Certification Services report #57842062, circa 1830.
