Set to top and bottom with two drop shape old cutnatural unenhanced rubies in open backcutdown settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, further set with two drop shape old cut natural emeralds with no colour enhancement in open back cutdown settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, centrally set with a round old mine diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.10 carats and decorated throughout with thirty six round rose cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.36 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.46 carats, to an elegant cruciformcluster with polished borders and intricately pierced backholing, the rounded trumpeting shoulders lead to a solid D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat gold with silver settings, French control marks, circa 1830.
