 Description

Georgian diamond coronet cluster ring. Set centrally with a triangular rose cut diamond in a closed back grain setting with a weight of 0.70 carats, encircled by a border of eleven cushion shape mixed old cut diamonds in closed back grain and cutdown settings with a combined weight of 0.90 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to a drop shape coronet cluster featuring polished edges, a smooth gallery and closed backholing, leading to trumpeting openwork carved shoulders and flowing through to a solid ridged shank. Tested yellow gold and silver settings, English, circa 1830.
