Diamond and mother of pearl coronet cluster ring. Set with a round old cut diamond to centre in an open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 3.00 carats, encircled by a single row of fourteen round brilliant cutdiamonds in open back grain settings and flanked by two further brilliant cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, all sixteen with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.00 carats, to flora-form cluster design within an elegant mother of pearlbezel smoothly flowing down to the shoulders, and with yellow gold framework extending through the diagonals of the piece, conforming to the finger with a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, signed 'Fred' with maker's mark, French, circa 1970.
