Engraved gold posy ring 'A friends gift'. A yellow gold posy ring, engraved to the exterior with a repeating scroll motif, the interior of the band engraved in italic script 'A friends gift'. Tested yellow gold, approximately 1.33 grams in weight, maker's mark 'IY', circa 17th century.
