Emerald, diamond and enamel ring. Set with one central octagonal emerald-cut natural emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.25 carats, surrounded by a single row of eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back petal shaped collet settings with an approximate total weight of 0.80 carats, to a circular cluster, highlighted with black enamel, all above a scalloped openwork gallery with pierced backholing and flanked by ornately carved shoulders and leading through to a D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1890.
