 Description

Emerald-cut diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond, E colour, SI1 clarity, with a weight of 1.01 carats, in an open back claw setting, further set with six rectangular baguette-cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.36 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.37 carats, to a geometric flanked solitaire design featuring corner claws, an open linear gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to integrated shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2221447239.
