Set to center with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Padparadscha Ceylon sapphire with a weight of 2.02 carats in an open back claw setting, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open back backholing, the smooth shoulders flow through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-1619.
