Emerald and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with an emerald-cut Colombian Muzo emerald with no colour enhancement and negligible clarity enhancement in an open back yellow gold double corner claw setting with a weight of 2.22 carats, encircled by a single row of eight round brilliant cut emeralds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, alternated by a stepped row of eight oval brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings to an outward spray with a combined weight of 2.00 carats, flanked by four horizontal channel set baguette cut diamonds in rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.70 carats. The total approximate emerald weight is 2.62 carats and the total approximate diamond weight is 2.07 carats, all to an elegant cluster form with openwork and intricate structured linear claws to the conforming gallery, with open backholing and a solid shaped shank. Marked platinum and 18 carat white gold, French, circa 1960, accompanied by Gem & Pearl Laboratory report #07682.
