Edwardian sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.95 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'T. BROS' for Turnbull Brothers, English, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-1188.
