 Description

Edwardian ruby and diamond ring. Set with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.15 carats, further decorated with four round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.16 carats, to an elegant seven design featuring millegrain edging, a polished gallery and circular open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, numbered '405', full hallmarks for Birmingham, English, 1914.
