Edwardian old mine diamond ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, H colour, SI1 clarity with a weight of 2.27 carats in an open back claw setting, further adorned with two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.31 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders flowing to a solid flat shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1915, accompanied by a HRD Antwerp report #180000175178.
