Edwardian old mine diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond with an approximate weight of 0.78 carats, in an open back claw setting, flanked by twenty four round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.08 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to trumpeting split shoulders with millegrain edging and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
