Edwardian old mine diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.05 carats, encircled by twelve cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined weight of 1.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.25 carats, to an elegant elongated coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1915.
