Edwardian diamond ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond, E colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 3.97 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.01 carats, to an impressive solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, flanked by elegant tri-split shoulders with petal shape motifs and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by HRD report #15000634001.
