Edwardian flanked diamondsolitaire ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond, J colour, SI1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 3.08 carats, in an open backclaw setting, flanked by eight round eight cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.16 carats, to an elegant solitaire design, featuring gently curving claws, a pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy open backholing, leading to raised inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing to a smooth D-shapeshank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5182128433.
