Edwardian fancy solitaire diamond ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.30 carats, flanked by sixty eight round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.90 carats, to an elegant solitaire design with a raised polished circular collet and intricately pierced backholing, the integrated trumpeting diamond set shoulders feature delicate rope details and millegrain decoration which taper and continue to the reverse. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
