Edwardian fancy coloured diamondcrossover ring. Set with one cushion shape old minenatural unenhanced fancy yellowish-brown diamond, SI2 clarity, in a open backclaw setting with an approximate of 1.80 carats, further set with one cushion shape old mine diamond, L colour, SI1 clarity in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.45 carats, further adorned with eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.90 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.15 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring curving claws, intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open back holing, flanked by trumpeting grooved shoulders continuing through to a tapered flat shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, numbered '653', further indistinct numbers, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) reports #5202104652 and #2201111142.
